Or I would never have known that having a natural birth could make me blind .

I had a detached retina repaired last year and the pressure of popping the little bundle out could damage my eye again but this time leaving me blind in the left eye.

Waiting to see a consultant but if the choice is between a natural birth and losing my sight or having a c-section I know which I would rather have.

My sister in law temporarily lost her sight following the birth of her son, 6 years later she has cataracts and still needs steroid injections in her eye - all linked to the birth but it is incredibly rare.

If you already have a roblem though definitely raise it with your consultant x
