um, yes, i would say it is too late for it, but i am no expert!!!

however, don't worry because there are various reasons for bleeding and it doesn't always indicate a miscarriage,

i would ring your midwife tomorrow if you are concerned though or if you have any more blood.

I would speak to your midwife tomorrow and get it checked out taytotayto.

Get it checked out, definitely. I had a small amount of bleeding at 22 weeks and was admitted to hospital to have it checked out. It was unexplained, possibly due to low-lying placenta, and all was fine but better to put your mind at ease. Call your midwife or maternity unit at hospital.

i had brown discharge at 15 weeks. mine was not bloody, though. just brown spotting. had it every day for about 9 days and cramps a few times per day. was really really worried. i went to a private obstetritian and had a scan done. doctor said it was normal on the basis of the scan (they check for thickness of placenta and it's location (eg, low vs normal) and cervix length/appearance.

i'd say, see if your discharge stops in a couple of days. if not, or symptoms worsen, i would go see a doctor (i guess this is a personal choice; i am just quite worried as i have some high risk factors). maybe somebody else would provide a better insight?

hope you get better soon!

I'm 22 weeks and I had a pinky smear followed by 5 days of brown discharge just a couple of weeks ago. I had had a scan the Friday before the Saturday it appeared and all was fine with this. Baby is now kicking as well so there was plenty of foetal movement too.

I phoned up midwife, ended up speaking to her, my GP and triage midwife and they all said that it wasn't too much to worry about unless it went red or I had pain.

Phone your surgery for peace of mind as much as anything. I'm sure it will be fine but better for the experts to discuss the symptoms with you rather than diagnose on the net.
