Hi i've just moved to the area and am 5 weeks pregnant so need to register with a GP soon to get myself into the system- anyone have any recommendations on good GP's in the area with good community midwives? Planning to deliver in hospital but would be good to have good antenatal/postnatal midvives.

Not in the area, but in Kent, if you want NHS you get the GP your given! Go on the NHS website, put in your postcode and see which one is the closest to you, call them and see if it's that one you should be registering with, otherwise it might be another one that has your street.

Community Midwives are often not based at the GP practice (mine was based at the hospital near here) and they often cover wider areas than the GPs. The receptionist at the GP will be able to let you know.
