Gallstone and Pregnancy

Hey all,

Just a quick query. I have had severe pain in my right shoulder which extends to right ribs/stomach. Sometimes I can barely move. I have a support belt on as hips are sore as well and have my first physio appt next week.

After googling. Shoulder blade pain later on in pregnancy can be caused by gallstones. Has anyone ever had this.

To be totally honest, I seem to be suffering a lot this time round. I am 28 weeks now, on my 6th uti, still suffering with hyperemesis. And the reflux is like nothing ive ever experienced. I was sick in my sleep last night, horrible acid stuff.

I did see cons on Monday just gone, shes booked me in for GTT test as baby is big. She said it sounds like I have arthritis in my shoulder and to wrap up warm.

Most days I am crying in pain, I do take paracetamol and probably one night a week take co-codomol (dont like taking it anymore)

Thing is, I am worrying, It says on my clexane boxes that long term us can cause bone problems. Maybe this is why I am so friggin achy all the time. I havnt had a single blood test yet to check my levels like I did last tim.

I feel close to breakdown tbh, i am exhausted, sick, sore and fd up :(

I had gallstones but before I was pregnant and it was horrible! A close friend who would not over do it said the pain was on occasion worse than childbirth when she had them also!

I was constantly sick (bright green TMI Sorry) with heartburn and pain in up whole upper body. When you see your docs make sure you get them to check as its an easy ultrasound scan that they can see them on.

I had keyhole surgery that I felt better only the day after and a week after no pain for the first time in months! I dont know what the difference is when pregnant is tho.

Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy your pregnancy soon x
