Congrats!
Very different pregnancies.
DS: Bad morning sickness for first 16 weeks, then I was fine and quite sprightly, in fact, until SPD kicked in at about 34 weeks. Ended up absolutely huge (put on 4 stone) and on crutches! Went to 42+5 before being induced, which failed and ended in emcs.
DD: Hypermesis HELL from 6-22 weeks. Hospitalised for the sickness. Was very bad. From 22 weeks onwards, felt great and had that 'pregnancy blooming' thing...until developed obstetric cholestasis at 34 weeks (boo). Elective section at 38 weeks.
Postnatally, it was very different, too. Struggled with first baby - PND, anxiety etc. Second baby was a breeze.
And my babies were so different. DS was alert, didn't sleep much, very developmentally 'advanced' . DD slept 12 hours a night pretty much straight away, and kipped away most of the day, too. Was very chilled out and content. It was a totally different experience.
Good luck - how exciting!
