I'm 23 weeks with baby No 3 and although I do feel movements they are quite slight and I only seem to feel one or two movements a day, I'm trying not to worry but it's hard?

Niamh I'm 27 weeks with baby no 3 and I've been quite surprised by the lack of movement, although for the past 2 days have been getting loads more Grin Until recently they felt more like "pulses". I'm sure I read that feeling movement can be quite sporadic until third trimester. I've worried/panicked more about this baby than the previous two.

Me too, you try not to compare pregnancies but of course you do, my last one was very active and I guess that's what I expected again, good to hear someone else is feeling the same, thanks!

Niamh if you are worried can you call your MW or mat unit/delivery suite? My MW told me if problems/worries after 17 weeks to call delivery suite (they have a triage bit) if out of hours or at the weekend. The numbers are normally on front of notes I think.

Might your placenta be at the front or something.

Hope it is all ok.

Pregnancy - such a worry.

if i were you id go to hospital and get checked out. i went loads with my first and they were always really kind to me and said if im not happy to go back any time and not to sit and worry. as a nurse myself i can tell you a midwife would rather you waste her time than let something happen that you might regret, well thats what i was told. NEVER think "im waisting their time" always get checked out. i know its time consuming but think how relieved you will feel when you get the all clear. good luck x
