Hi .. 31 weeks and I get constant really strong movements to the point I jump and can see body parts.. Does anyone else get these as they actually hurt

Sounds normal to me. Sometimes I feel like it's going to punch it's way out through my skin :-)

normal i'm afraid.

i just came out of a meeting in work where every man was staring at my bump in disgust. the movements look horrific. lots of 'Alien' comments.

oh I do love it, but at the same time it freaks me out a bit - I am sure my DD didn't move as much or is such a strange way. Last night I ended up getting out of bed just to have some let up from being kicked so hard!

definitely normal here, I had to walk around this morning to get my lo to calm down, it really has made me jump at times. I saw his foot pressing against my tummy last night and although it was strange, I loved it! Going to get the camera ready for next time it happens!

Soooo normal! I keep having feet and hands sticking out of my tummy, and SOMEHOW I get the odd kick in a hipbone...weird!!

gemhandley · 19/11/2010 23:41

ive been getting the hipbone kicks its dead wierd. Im the same as julie cant remember DS moving like this! Im sure she was having a disco in there earlier and it was constant big waves finished off with full kick with foot sticking out!

I'm 34 weeks and I had a full on River Dance performance going on in my bump last night! I started to wonder if baby was ok because it was really going for it! It was almost like he/she was trying to get out!

I wonder if it follows any pattern with the sex of the baby. I've been thinking that we're going to have a girl but all the kicking has started making me think it might be a boy. Is that a stupid thought? I don't know why I'd think a boy would kick more but I just wondered if anyone else has had previous pregnancies that follow that rule? Hmm
