12 weeks - sudden severe headache & vomiting...advice?

I was exactly 12 weeks yesterday & while at work I developed a really bad headache (around 11 am).
I've also not been able to keep anything down, which I'm finding strange as I have only had some nausea, not proper morning sickness.

Now I have an intense pain/headache behind my right eye and every time I move I feel incredibly sick, and have been vomiting every time I've tried to eat.

I've been sleeping a lot since yesterday and had some paracetamol but nothing seems to help.

Any advice?

This sounds like a virus not morning sickness.

Do you have a fever is the first question? If so, take paracetamol to bring it down - will help with headache. Drink plenty of fluids and rest (all the usual things you do when you are really ill). Go see doctor as soon as possible. There is nothing they can do for baby at this stage so all you can do is look after yourself as best you can.

Call your MW/hospital assessment unit. It sounds like a migraine though TBH and I think 12 weeks is far too early for PE but you should probably get checked out.

migraine. To the GP please!

Yeah DP was trying to get me to go to docs today but I didn't think it would be worth it...pregnant + puking isn't that unusual.
I will def. make an appt in the morning if I still have this headache.

Thanks for the advice.

sounds like migraine which are more common in pregnancy. Go to docs to check.
