Think I lost my mucous plug, pink discharge normal?

Hello mumsnetters,

I'm 39 + 4, went to the loo this morn heard a ploop and am pretty sure it was my mucous plug, I now have a snotty pink discharge, is this normal?

According to the books, pink is normal, bloody is not - if you're not sure, just call the midwife to be certain, but it's probably fine.

Thanks for that, I did call my midwife who said it fine and everything is loosening up in readiness..... Bit gutted to be going to bed with not a lot happening, got all excited and have been bouncing on my gym ball like a nutter ( my 18 month old DS loves it " boing boing!") hopefully tomorrow I get to meet my LO
