How long the HIP payments are taking? Today was the first chance I had to get the MW to fill in the form, as my 28 week appt was with the GP, and he wouldn't do it. So I had to wait till today to get MW to do it, am 31+4 today. Obviously need the money ASAP now, so wondered if it would take 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks? Anyone have any idea?

my payment was in my bank account in around 7 days...

Mine's taking ages as the MW filled the wrong date on the form (date of signing not due date - put 2011 not 2010!) and despite double checking, I didn't pick up on it. This has reminded me to give them a call today to see what's going on.

Posted mine 2 weeks ago and my bank account is still empty..

i sent mine off in aug, still hadnt got it a week ago, after numerous phone calls and being put on hold LOTS, it finally transpired that they had okayed the payment and then it had got 'lost' in cyber space, i finally got it this week!

they say it takes about 6wks, but i know some people who got it really quickly and then others like me who found it took months, good luck!

Mine took 6 weeks and I had to phone them twice.

From posting the form, about 2 weeks with no problems. Money was in my account before I got the letter telling me it would be paid, so check your account rather than waiting for the postman. Hope it arrives soon!
