past hour and half maybe a little longer my baby has been moving like mad, really hurts, my tummy feels tight and sometimes when he moves it feels like i'm gonna wee (i'm guessing he's on my bladder) i had lower back ache like period pain - it kinda feels like i have a ring of pain around my mid/lower tummy. Got in bath and normally the twinges die down but i'm out now and back pain is a bit worse (not unbareable) and baby is moving lots - which is killing. Is this bh? Was induced with my 1st and all i remember is getting really bad back ache and then everything is a blur

I would time them...

On a scale of 1-10 how painful are they???

Could be the beginnings of labour.

My DS was born at 38 wks and I had this for a few hrs before proper labour iyswim...

simpson · 16/11/2010 23:14

I would have a warm bath and see what happens...

pinkyp · 16/11/2010 23:17

Already had the bath, normally the pains go off but seem to be worse now. I'd say they were about a 4 pain wise,i nearly give of a little 'owwwww' but dh is sleeping on the sofa so dont want to disturb him unecessary. Just distracting myself on here and fb, will see how it goes.

You are wise to be on MN to distract you Grin

take a couple of paracetamol and go to bed. If it is the start of labour, you need to get some kip if you can.

my labour started this way!! saturday afternoon lots of middle of road pains got worse after a bath then went by 10pm that evening, then after sunday roast started again and by teatime was walking round the estate holding on to peoples walls between contractions!! I wanted to be as active as possible, unfortunately the little bugger darling decided to hang on in there for another day but thats another story!!! Fingers crossed and good luck xx
