Weird salty taste in mouth at 33 weeks....

...does anyone have any idea what causes this?

It gets worse as the day goes on. I am avoiding salty foods and drinking enough fluid, but the taste of salt just won't go away.

Is there any way I can get rid of this? I have never experienced this in my previous pregnancies.

TIA

Have you been chewing heartburn tablets? I get this when I have to have one.

I haven't but I have been swigging gaviscon, but its never given me this salty taste before. Will lay off the gaviscon and see if that makes a difference....oh, but then I'll still get heartburn...oh the joys!
