Feeling baby movements at 12weeks is it possible?

Or is it just wind?

Expecting #3 and I really don't know!

Didn't feel #1 till about 24 weeks and I can't remember with #2.

I seriously doubt it - I don't think the baby will be big enough yet to feel. However, I could be completely wrong . . .

I'm convinced I could feel those little butterfly flutterings at 9 weeks! Someone will probably tell me it's impossible, but I could feel it, might be due to smallish gap between babies. This one and the previous ds were both real movers, all the time! Ironic really as ds is a bit of a lazy lump now!

I definitely felt DS at 12 weeks. Have absolutely no doubt about it whatsover!!
BTW - DS is my second. Felt DD (first) at about 18 weeks, as far as I can remember.

I felt my baby move at 11 weeks, no doubt about it. Was kind if a fluttery feeling. This is my second baby.

This is my third baby and I felt him/her moving at the end of week 10/beginning of week 11 - it was definite movement and not wind (having been very windy this pregnancy I feel qualified to know the difference !!!) You may well indeed have been feeling baby x

Yes - I felt 'popping' movements at 10 weeks (as did my mum with me), and DH felt the baby at 12 weeks! Which was very lucky as he didn't feel her again til about 22 weeks.

Have felt something move in my belly already and according to my dates I'm only 11 weeks, But will find out for sure on the 22nd

Last time round at about 14 weeks gone I saw a small bump about the size of a 20 pence piece, move across my belly. So did my mum, but my midwife wrote it off as wind Meh. Whatever I know it was my baby girl!

I felt my 2nd baby at about 9-10 weeks, sort of a poppy bubbly feeling, am sure it wasn't just wind.

I feel kicks at 12 weeks with dc3. I suspect I was 16 weeks though but never told the midwives.

I think I may have felt baby from 12 weeks (I'm 17 weeks now) but the midwife told me today that although some women will swear blind they have, it's most likely to be a case of wind and us putting 2 and 2 together. She wasn't being a know all either, she was really genuine (I'd been down to EPU concerned that what I thought was the baby had stopped). Their guidelines are that the first flutters come at around 18 - 20 weeks. What I felt was more like a little tapping.

With DD, I suddenly felt like I'd been hoofed in the bladder by a small elf at 13 weeks. Then nothing for 3 weeks. By 17 weeks though, DH and I were watching movement through my tshirt!

Currently 13 weeks with DC2 and last week I swear I felt a brief flurry of activity that was not wind - I had jeans on and the waistband was digging in against where I felt it and I remember that I felt DD's movements much more strongly if I had a waistband pressing in.

I reckon it's possible. I felt mine (first) at 18 weeks, or at least what I could definitely say without doubt was baby and not wind! I've heard lots of people say they feel subsequents babies earlier - I guess because they know what it feels like so identify it as definite baby movements and not just bowels etc!

I have suspected I felt something for a couple of weeks now, but on my scan on Friday I felt a movement as we were watching the screen and it was the baby turning round! I was so glad it happened like that as now I know I am not imagining it!

I was 12 weeks and 6 days when I had my scan :)

Felt my second at 14 weeks. My third was something similar - MW told me to stop being silly but I honestly did think it was them. I've heard the more you have and the thinner you are the higher the changes you have of feeling them early

I could fell my twins move before 12 weeks. It absolutely wasn't wind, that was my fourth pregnancy. I had a scan at 13 weeks and I felt a huge kick at the same time as I saw it on the scan. Other than that it was just 'fluttering' until about 15-16 weeks though.

First time for me and felt mine at 16 weeks, but then i am expecting an above average sized baby...

I felt both sets of twins really early too! Whether it was because it was twins or pregancies 5 & 6 i don't know.

Have you had your first scan OP?

Yes def possible, I've been feeling this one since 9 weeks, tailed off a bit between 14/15 weeks as think my womb moved up but def getting kicks now!

Yes I think you can feel it that early - I felt this one (DC2) at about 11 weeks. I know the wee kicks/flutters feel very different from 'wind' and these are feelings I've only ever had when pregnant. If it was wind surely you'd feel it when you weren't pregnant too?

Anyhow the feelings are the same now (17 weeks) but a bit stronger/clearer.

I can feel big watery feelings at 9 weeks. Can't feel baby as very small obviously but think I can feel the water moving IYSWIM.
