I'm wondering if you "knew" you were pregnant before you could test after the 2ww? What signs did you get?

DS: Really sore boobs

DD: Funny pain in my upper tummy - I had no idea it was because I was pregnant, we weren't TTC, was using BC and DS was only 3 months old!

Vikkijayne2507 · 20/06/2016 12:22

Ds1 had swollen veiny boobs and peeing alllll the time. Ds2 peeing again all the time. It's not anything pushing on bladder it gets aggravated from hormone changes which leads to peeing or feeling need to pee all the time

PassiveAgressiveQueen · 20/06/2016 12:24

Faint, tired. Had to have a sit down at the start of a short walk.

pinkladyapple · 20/06/2016 17:18

The only symptom I had was tiredness. I didn't do a pregnancy test until I was almost 2 weeks late. I was working night shifts, which I normally cope really well with, but my god I was exhausted beyond anything I've ever had - I slept for 10+ hours between each shift (usually only had 6 or 7 hours!) and still felt tired. I also felt my eyes wanting to close while at work!

Then I had a sneaking voice in my head asking me when my last period was. But I dismissed it for a few more days because we had a diagnosis of infertility. I am now very lucky to be 35 weeks pregnant. Smile

RaspberryBeret34 · 20/06/2016 17:22

Sore boobs, extreme thirst and brown spotting around 10 dpo.

AGnu · 20/06/2016 18:34

DC1 - sudden diarrhoea & fainting at 7dpo
DC2 - waves of nausea at 7dpo
Currently TTC DC3 & am on 10dpo & have been feeling hideously nauseated & exhausted for 3 days...!

Kariana · 20/06/2016 20:47

Pain in my upper abdomen/lower chest muscle whenever I stretched from very soon after conception must have taken place. I'd had so many false symptoms in previous months but by the time my period was due I had a sneaking suspicion that this was going to turn out to be it. Didn't notice quite how exhausted I'd also been until after the positive test!

MegGriffin1 · 20/06/2016 21:46

Bfn today. Don't know why I'm bothering with all this

RattieOfCatan · 21/06/2016 08:51

I love that a zombie thread is thread of the day Grin

I was really nauseous and light-headed when driving and generally naueseous all of the time pretty much from when I'm guessing implantation must have taken place. I had to tell my boss within a couple of weeks as I was having to give myself extra time on the school run (I'm a nanny) and stop my car for air, she's often home during the day so I couldn't keep making excuses about leaving early for it and I didn't want the kids telling her that I was ill!

I had written it off at first as my youngest charge had had a bit of a squiffy tummy the week before and I had been working lots of extra hours in the two weeks before our fertile window and the week after so thought that I may be run down. But as soon as I got the positive test back I knew why I'd been feeling squiffy! That stayed until past three months too but luckily no actual sickness!

The bleeding gums happened quite early too but I'm not sure if that was before or after the test!

swancourt · 21/06/2016 09:51

I had sore boobs at what I thought was 7dpo. I told my DH I was pregnant. Got a BFP four days later, at what I thought was 11dpo.

I've had two scans now (am 12-13 weeks) and both put me three days out. So according to the scans I got sore boobs at 4dpo and a BFP at 8dpo. Having my official scan on Friday.

ParisGellar · 21/06/2016 10:44

I knew before I tested as I had all my normal pre menstrual symptoms but exaggerated, with the added bonus of really sore boobs which I'd never had before. I was so excited when I realised what it meant. He's 1 now!

jayner182 · 21/06/2016 14:32

I opened the fridge and borked. I could never open a fridge with my first pregnancy and now its returned! Took a preggo test that night.

Rbribbs · 21/06/2016 14:48

This is tmi (soz) but discharge was my very earliest symptom. Literally thick and creamy constantly from day 1. I'm 28+2 now and its still a daily symptom...!

cheekstime · 21/06/2016 16:05

first pregancy, sense of smell hit the roof, second - felt bit anxious more hyper aware of stuff, hated artifical dangerous smells! led to nausea.

FKat2016 · 21/06/2016 17:28

Absolutely horrendous night sweats almost from the very start (although I didn't actually find out until 5 weeks)... I means it was like someone had emptied a paddling pool into the bed, I'd wake up frequently because of it.

Exhaustion, as if I'd very suddenly become extremely unfit, and massive, tender boobs from about 2-3 weeks...

The day before I found out I felt very bloated and heavy in my lower abdomen.

The fatigue carried on for some weeks and even though now (15+2 weeks) I feel better in myself, I'm still completely knackered because I've not slept a proper night since I fell pregnant!

ohthegoats · 21/06/2016 20:06

Constipation from about 2 weeks pregnant.
Bad taste in mouth from about 2 weeks pregnant.
Boyfriend suddenly smelled really horrible.
Weird 'butterfly/over excited' feeling in lower abdomen from about 2 weeks.

When I peed on a stick I KNEW I was pregnant - that was the day my period was due.

ohthegoats · 21/06/2016 20:08

Oh, also the boob thing - couldn't lie on my front in bed - from about 2 weeks.

We weren't 'not trying', but we weren't making a concerted effort to conceive, so while not a shock, it was definitely a surprise.

By 5 weeks I had all of the above, felt sick all the time (could only really eat potato waffles!) and was exhausted. We moved house when I was 6 weeks pregnant, and it nearly finished me off.

seafoodeatit · 21/06/2016 22:22

None, I felt horrendous but that's because I had a chest infection. I didn't get any symptoms till I reached 6 weeks both times.

mineofuselessinformation · 21/06/2016 22:33

I could feel something there, plus, I developed a huge multi-headed spot on my chin. Didn't realise that was a symptom the first time, but knew the second time round.

UnhappyMeal · 22/06/2016 00:05

Felt tired, skin broke out in zits!

candykane25 · 22/06/2016 00:09

Rock hard boobs.

waitingforsomething · 22/06/2016 07:03

For my two successful pregnancies I got sore boobs both times as soon as sperm hit egg!

hels18 · 22/06/2016 10:18

I felt incredibly hungover the morning before my period was due, even though I didn't drink the night before! Also, when blowing my nose I had a small amount of blood appear in the tissue. Other than that, I really thought I was about to get my period as had all the usual cramping.

Ashpan26 · 24/06/2016 00:06

I had really sore breasts about 2 weeks before my period was due must have been about a week or 2 after conception

Sleepybeanbump · 24/06/2016 00:17

Really tender boobs. And a weird sense of calm that stayed through the whole pregnancy. A really good friend who I saw daily noticed this but didn't say til later.

I just knew - to the the point that for several days I meant to buy a test but kept not getting round to it. I was so weirdly laid back about it. All very odd and unlike me.
