Srange stomach pains at 31 weeks

Just wondering if anyone can advise what this may be.
Since I woke up todsay I have had a dull ache in the lower half of my bump, with a few shooting pains on the left hand side intermittently.
These are different to the braxton hicks i have had.
I can speak to my midwife this evening, but am wondering if this should be a more pressing concern
I am 31 weeks and 2 days.

I read somewhere that it is your ligaments loosening. Am sure I had similar ones at about 28 weeks, am now 33 weeks and have not had them since although braxton hicks keeps me busy.
