Hello,
All my pregnancy symptoms seem to have disappeared literally overnight: MS, extreme breast tenderness, constant pins and needles in fingers and hands. Also period-like lower side backache started since this morning. This is my third baby and have now been worrying to the point that I've even phoned my midwife (who wasn't available).

Also noticed that I haven't felt the usual regular flutters in my tummy, that I've been feeling since last week.

My next mw appt is not till later next week. Do you think any of the above is cause for concern?

midwife phoned back and offered to see me at the end of her clinic today. She said we'll try and listen to the heartbeat with her doppler. Gosh, now I hope she'll be able to find the hb - I know it's a hit or miss at this stage...

try to stop worrying, you probably are just getting used to te pregnancy hormones. She may or may not be able to hear the heartbeat depending on where the placenta is. Hope it all works out ok.

thanks lucy. mw was very nice and luckily she found the heartbeat almost straightaway!!!!
Much more relaxed now and look forward to enjoying the rest of my (hopefully) MS-free pregnancy;-)!

This is just the stage when the horrible first trimester symptoms vanish - I can so sympathise as you loathe them while you have them then panic when they disappear! Hope you bloom over the next few weeks, congratulations on hopefully getting past the icky part!!
