There are so many threads on this topic - I took part in none of it... have nothing to add either.
I too am leaving on Mumsnet - may come back when Milupa's ad is taken off....
I am a breastfeeding counsellor (and doula) and I am astounded at the whole affair. I'll leave it at that

S'OK. Is definitely wrong. Am hoping she returns, along with Tiktok, after the ad ends.

How are you, Bubble?

bubble99 · 18/09/2005 22:01

Tired but OK. And you must be tired, too. What are you now? 24 weeks ish? You'll be at the 'glowing' stage by now, though. Silky tufts and a happy smile.

Is the ad still around? I had a look and couldn't find it.

hunkermunker · 18/09/2005 22:03

Not sure about glowing - lol! But yes, was 24 weeks yesterday - you're a marvel, Bubble! It's going very, very quickly

Feet silken with new tresses though

Yes, ad still on the homepage, right at the bottom.

How is the beautiful Footle?

bubble99 · 18/09/2005 22:12

Not a happy Footle at the mo. New top tooth coming through and a stinky cold. He's with me at the nursery during the day and I suspect that the littlies have shared their colds with him.

My BF anti-bodies must have run out. I'm still BF and TTC, not a good combination I suspect, but you were still BF when you got Pg this time, weren't you?

How is your little dreamboy? Does he understand that he's going to have a new brother or sister? And, BTW, have you got any idea as to gender yet? Are you feeling boyish or girlish at the moment?

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 18/09/2005 22:17

Oh, poor little boy Hope he's feeling much better soon (may I recommend Medised for teething and blocked noses).

Yes, was still bfeeding when I got pg - I date my pg from when DS was one and six days! He's stopped feeding now though. Wonder if he'll want to have a go again when he sees the new baby feeding?!

As for your antibodies running out, nah - they're bound to pick things up at nursery. If you're having periods, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I have everything crossed for you.

DS is adorable - couldn't be more cute. Wore shoes for the first time yesterday... Will post a pic on his thread if you're interested?

bubble99 · 18/09/2005 22:22

Yes, please do! Your pg really is flying by. That was a quick 6 months. Did you ask not to know the gender at your 20 week scan? Or are you just keeping me in suspense?

OP posts:
bubble99 · 18/09/2005 22:24

DS1 was 2 and a half when DS2 was born and he wanted to feed too. I said he could if he wanted .....but once the offer was there, he didn't want to.

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 18/09/2005 22:43

No, didn't find out - we like surprises too much! Sorry, not keeping you in suspense, just dopey!

Had very strong "It's a boy!" feelings with DS - nothing like the same strength of feeling this time around though - veer wildly between being sure DS will have a brother...then a sister! Still, he'll have one or the other, I suppose! And we have no preference - do wonder what having a girl would be like, but do also love having a boy!

hunkermunker · 18/09/2005 22:43

LOL re DS1 too - can just imagine him changing his mind once the offer was there!

moondog · 18/09/2005 22:46

Hi bubble..know you were talking about ttc,but didn't know it was action stations. This will be your 5th child?????

God,you're brave!
