I was going to use dr google but i thought i'd ask on here first (your all ten times better), anyone felt like this? I'm 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow, feel poorley today, had plenty of sleep but feel a real lack of energy, feel sick, woke up with numb/pins and needles in my hands. I have restless legss that either itch or cant keep still, shaking a bit, slight headache, i feel like poo Sad no energy. Is this normal? Also been having lower sharpe pains in my pelvis, i thought maybe this was the babys head engaging or something.

Oh dear - that sounds horrid. I also feel pants but am only 28 weeks. If you are worried call your midwife. Restless legs I think is normal, pins and needles in hands and itchy legs are not so much. Pelvic pain is completely normal aspecially at 38 weeks - it could be engagement. Speak to the MW though about the other stuff. Hope you feel better.

when you say itchy, how itchy? Because it can be harmless or it can be sth to be concerned about...

The pins n needles in hands is probably carpal tunnel, stretch and squeeze yr hands on waking it shd help.

Not long to go, hang in there :)

it comes and goes the itch on hands...i'm hanging in here...just about lol

I'm at 36 weeks and you've just listed everything I'm suffering with too. Sharp pains in pelvis, pins and needles and a general feeling of rubbishness. And the blooody restless legs!!! Not sure how I'm going to get through the next 4 weeks- plus my bump is MASSIVE and my little feller rather active.

V.V. uncomfortable :(

On the up side, nice to know it's all normal, though!

others on here will know more than me, there is a type of itchiness that is symtopmatic of a condition cant remember its name but its to do with liver function. From what i recall its if you have itching all over your body tho and if its really unbearable. Yours sounds more like carpal tunnel if just on hands which is not as bad iyswim just very uncomfortable but like i say others here know better than me and you can always go to gp if youre really worried.
