lots of freshly squeezed lemon juice + hot water with honey + ginger (best if you can either juice it or boil peeled roots for an hour or so. you can also put aloe vera drops in the nose (best if you can pinch a leaf off a plant and squeez it), otherwise try to get the one with less preservatives from a pharmacy. hope you feel better!

I got a horrid cold when I was 6 weeks pregnant, the night before my wedding! My mum didn't know why I wouldn't take the cold&flu tablets she had got me (she didn't know I was pregnant)!

Honey & Lemon is great if you have a sore throat. A little olbas oil on a tissue or in some steam will really help unblock your nose/clear your head. (Just make sure you close your eyes if you do the steam method!) Paracetemol, regularly, is the only 'drug' that you can really take, which will help control your temperature a bit & stop some of the aches and pains. Take it easy, hope you feel better soon! :)

I'm in the same boat soppy, just coping with paracetamol, hot ribena and menthol steam inhalations. Have run out of halls extra strong menthol eucalyptus lozenges think i'll ask DH to bring some in with him tonight as i really don't want to venture out to shops.

Take it easy you'll feel human again in a few days. Smile

You can take paracetamol and dependng on how pregnant you are can use otrivine nasal spray sparingly for blocked nose.
