The doctor told me to have it packed by 34 weeks.

A good tip that I recieved was to get my DH to pack it all for me, so he knows where things are, rather than me screaming at him "NO the other right pocket" Wink

I am 40+2 today and have just finished packing my bag Grin

baby's stuff was packed at about 36 weeks, but didn't sort my bag as I use/wear most of the stuff out of it anyway and I had a list ready so packing the bag only took a few minutes

wasn't expecting bub to be early (or even on time)

30 weeks with my DTD's - born at 33+6, this time at 34 weeks its three quarters packed....

I must be in denial - 33 and a half weeks and haven't even got the baby stuff out of the storage unit. To be fair, we did move house last week. Am planning a HB but now know I have a breech baby, so perhaps I need to think about a hospital bag. Sad But as far as the HB goes, I don't even have my Primark duvet yet!

with dd hadn't packed mine at 35 weeks. Went into hospital as baby hadn't moved much and ended up with EMCS three hours later!
Much sobbing the next day when DH came into hospital the next day with a bag of clothes for me to wear home to find it contained pre-pregnancy jeans. Sad

DD came at 33+5, so will be packing my bag EARLY this time (last time I had to explain to DH over the phone where everything was so he could pack it for me)

Have bought half the things for my hospital bag and still need nursing bras, nursings tops, nighties, muslins, slippers....god the list goes on!!

Am 35+6...lol

I did mine at 34 weeks. Read a couple of top tips on here which were
*to have a separate little bag with the 1st nappy/outfit for the baby

  • go through with DH where things are in the bag and also talk over your birth plan so he knows what you want *several bottles of lucozade with the sports cap cos they can be drunk at any angle!

I just packed mine this morning in a panic because the baby had not moved for hours and hours. Am planning HB and am 35 weeks.

Got in taxi, baby moved.
Still, at least bag is now packed.
