When did you feel kicks from the outside?...

Im 20 weeks and have the odd mini movements but cant remember when the bigger kicks start that can be felt from the outside. DPs dying to feel them :-)

Please remind me!

Around 22/23 weeks this time DH felt it (3rd baby) but I have an anterior placenta this time too :) Now the whol room can see the movements lol I am 26 weeks tomorrow

23 weeks and DH felt it for first time yesterday

Yeah about 22/23 weeks when DP could feel little bub - it was lovely :)

I was about 23wks when i felt kicks with my hand. Although everytime my fiance comes near she stops moving, much to his annoyance!

20 weeks, sometimes. Now at 24 weeks he can feel most of them, but if I call him to feel, baby stops. I think it starts listening to the sudden "noise".

20 weeks sometimes and now at almost 22 we can feel them very well and strong if baby is kicking out of the tummy (sometimes i can feel he's kicking my insides!) and can even see the tummy forming bumps....

My Mum felt our baby just before the 20 week scan but he is particularly lively and I am suspicious they have the dates wrong by about 2 weeks so it could be between 20-22 weeks. First baby.
I think it does depend a bit on your size and where the baby and placenta is.

I was something like 17 weeks with my first and thought I was just feeling bubbles, when DH put his hand on the bump and jumped back in shock with the kick he felt! I hadn't even realised it was the baby!!

Am 25+5 and DH has only felt one 'proper' kick (where he knew that was definitely what it was), and a couple of maybes.

On the outside though, it doesn't feel like actual kicks IYSWIM, it's more like muscle twitches or little spasms. I feel them loads, but whenever I yell DH to come and try, baby sits still and quiet!

The first time DH felt it was around week 22/23, now at week 27 he can feel it all the time. The baby also seems to get less 'shy' with daddy's touch as well! :D At the beginning, he used to stop kicking as soon as DH's hand was on my belly.

DH first felt it at about 19 or 20 weeks, but then didn't feel anything again for ages. I'm 24 weeks now and he's still only felt movement a couple of times. I was surprised because I thought once he'd felt it once, it would start happening a lot and the kicks would get stronger and more frequent, but they haven't seemed to get much stronger. I have got an anterior placenta, though, which I think is muffling them. Also, as lots of people have said already, she stops moving as soon as he tries, mostly.

About 23 weeks, and from 27 could see them - weird!

My cat sat on my bump the other week and I could feel the LO start kicking away/wriggling immediately. The cat didn't seem bothered. However, I got DP's hand there just in time so he felt one movement at least :)

That was 20 weeks

i started feeling outside kicks 2 night ago at first i thought it was all in my mind but then last night i was sitting with my hand on my belly and i felt a big kick then my whole belly moved as the baby moved round :) so happy to have felt it and my little girl felt it to she thought it was so funny lol

i am 20 weeks to but everytime that daddy puts his hand on my belly the baby stops lol he hates the fact that me and my wee girl have felt it and he hasnt but he will just have to wait his turn lol xx

about 25 weeks for me when DH felt the first kick. Was amazing experience.
