What is going on? Am very confused and looking for any advice in anyone has been in the same situation.

Sounds like you're pregnant to me! There are very few false positives. Congratulations!

Just posted about my similar experience on another post!

Did a normal test the day I was due, v. faint, wasn't even sure if I'd imagined it. Did a couple more the next few days that were neither here nor there. Had a doctors appt 4 days later and he wasn't really sure!
Did a CB digi test 2 days later and was positive 1-2 weeks.
Went on hols for a week, came back and did my 2nd CB test "just to check" and was 3+ weeks.

I'd say congrats are in order too Smile

Many thanks for all your quick replies. I am experiencing some light bleeding on and off for a couple of days, no towel or tampon needed. Sorry for details. Is this normal or is this my period coming on? x

I had some light spotting for 48hrs whilst on holiday, so a couple of weeks afer I was due. Called the number I'd been given by my GP for the local midwife when I got back and she was fab and explained it was probably implantation bleeding and unless it started again and/or I got bad pains not to worry too much.

She also mentioned light bleeding after sex isn't unusual (sorry, probably tmi but I was on holiday! Smile)

Perhaps ring NHS direct to put your mind at rest??
