28 weeks and constant low level period pain. Is this normal?

For the last hour I have had a constant period like pain in my lower tummy which is rather uncomfortable.

I am not bleeding or anything, so just wondered if this is normal for this stage of pregnancy or should I be worried?

hey rocklover - feeling any better in general?

Have you carried anything/moved about alot recently? I find I get a crampy periody pain if I lift anything (not that heavy) or go for a walk/move about oddly/alot.

Feeling ok today actually angels, even managed a trip to the supermarket after picking dd up from school!

I did have to carry 4 heavy grocery bags to and from the car, so maybe that set it off? How are you doing?

I carried shopping bags from s market delivery from front door to kitchen (not far at all!!) and got achey pain for an hour or so then it wore off, so assuming it was just that. Is it any better yet?

Had a bit of a rubbish day today rocklover but think it's just as I'm really tired - mnakes sucha a difference. Generally not nearly as bad as was so long as I take it easy etc but still get off times where i'm back to square one.

Glad you had a good day :) Enjoy fireworks with your DD

Id get checked over by Mv just in case , most likely nothing , but it could be ...
braxton hicks (can be a bit ouchy)
or spd ...you might need a support belt for the bump.
i had it , and i felt like ache around the pelvic &pubic bones , gets worse if you lift heavy stuff or are on feet a long time.

When I had this it turned out to be a UTI - none of the normal symptoms but someone on here suggested it might be that and low and behold, it was. Antibiotics sorted it.

I keep getting this on and off. I have the midwife in 2 weeks so I'm going to mention it as it is just on and off.

Well, the period pain went away in the end to be replaced by horrid tummy ache at 2am this morning. This was accompanied by horrendous nausea and diahorrea, I didn't sleep much!

I didn't get up until 1pm and I still feel sick now. I don't think it was a bug, but my ibs as I had a salad for dinner followed by a lovely big apple, finished with a Green & Blacks hot chocolate.

Why can I never have two good days in a row? If the pregnancy nausea relents one day, I end up having an awful time the next day. I must have done something really bad in a previous life.
