13 weeks and tripped on patio

Hi,

I am 13 weeks and have just managed to lose my footing and slip on our wet patio and landed on my bum quite suddenly. I haven't had any bleeding or pain, but I'm really frightened that I still might have harmed our baby.

I have texted my midwife, but was just wondering if anybody could offer any words of reassurance in the meantime.

I'm still waiting for my doppler machine to arrive, so I have no idea if everything is ok. Wondered about going to A&E, but not sure if this seemed a little excessive?

Thanks LunaticFringe. We only had our first scan the other day, and all seemed well, so hopefully will be fine. Just shook me up a bit, I think. Had I not been pg I would have just got up and not thought much else about it - funny how irrational we get in pregnancy!

Hello fp, I fell down the stairs of a double decker bus at 11 weeks and was taken to hospital by ambulance. All was well. Am sure as sure can be that you and the baby are just fine.

I was knocked down by a cyclist on a pavrment when 11 weeks pg. I went to my gp (who squeezed me in between appts on a Monday morning) who was lovely, assured me that all was well and hot me a scan at the epu. My dd is 5 now.

More dramatically, my grandmother fell into a coal store when 6 months pg with with my uncle!

I'm sure all will be fine, I was happily doing flip falls at 12 weeks (Aikido) before I realised I was pregnant Blush

I was knowcked off my bike at 14/15 weeks when pg with DS1 - all was fine, even though I was horribly bruised all down one side and very shaken up. I was reassured that the baby was still tucked safely inside the pelvis at that stage, and very well cushioned. It's a shock and a worry, though, so hope you're OK Smile.
