Nauseous when I lie down at 38 weeks

Well I am 38 weeks on Saturday and am the size of an elephant. My feet have swollen up so much that they don't even resemble the feet I once had.

I cannot get comfy at all. The weird thing at the moment is that I feel sick when I lie down. I am not sure why this is. I have a lot of amniotic fluid (polyhydrammnios - spelling prob wrong) and think I may have a squished up stomach, but I am getting major gastric reflux and am burping like crazy.

I cannot sleep on my back and on my side is very uncomfortable. I frequently wake in the night with a hip that is frozen and total agony.

has anyone else had this nausea at this late stage of pregnancy? I am just so tired now that I can barely do anything in a day. I did some food shopping earlier this morning and then had to have a two hour nap and the thought of making supper is making me exhausted. Is anyone else feeling as pathetic as me? Blush

37 weeks today here.

Totally feel your pain! My reflux can get really bad lying down - to the extent that I literally have to jump up, a major enterprise which is obviously no joke at this stage!

I have found that drinking a glass of milk or eating a yoghurt, followed by walking around the house for a few minutes, helps. A lot.

I'm feeling as pathetic as you and I'm only 26 weeks :(

I'm 37w and am shattered. Reflux horrendous, but got ranitidine on prescription which is helping. Eating ice helps a lot too
