I am based in North London and have just started an MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy and as part of the course and learning need to undertake weekly baby observation to gain an in depth understanding of child development.

The observation is non-judgmental and non-intrusive and is quite simply about watching the baby?s interactions and responses as she/he grows and develops. It is a key part of the course that I?m told can be fascinating and very moving for students.

I will be training to be working with children between the ages of 3-16 who are in need of help and support, and the baby observation will form the foundation of my understanding of child development and is therefore an invaluable part of my learning and training.
