I'm 40 in November and 6 weeks pg with 2nd child. When I was 23 and diagnosed with polycystic ovaries I was told I may never have kids, or if I did, it would have to be with medical help etc. In fact got preggars both times on 2nd attempt. But funnily enough, first time was between appointments with fertility doc as I was convinced I wasn't going to get pregnant easily as I had been told. Feel very blessed given age and PCOS. I know that even more so since finding mumsnet and learning of other people's heartaches. Met hubby when 35 so couldn't try for kids before then.
