Hi all, was just wondering how many people have 4 or more children?

I wish I could. DH has had the snip as he is adamant we are having no more Sad. I'm of the 'just' one more attitude persuasion and he thinks that if we had 4 I'd say 'just one more' each time and once we had 4 the car/house size argument wouldn't hold water as we'd have to move up a size anyway and there would be room for at least 5 DC Grin .

I have three boys, my DH has a son and a daughter, and I am currently pregnant, although very early days, and my pregnancies are now complicated, so I don't want to get my hopes up. We did have twin girls, but lost them sadly.

If this pregnancy goes well, I would definitely like at least one more. I was never relly maternal until I had my youngest son, but now I can't imagine anything more wonderful than a house full of children. (and animals!)

4 here. Really wanted another but not sure now (partly due to loss of CB Blush)

weblette · 03/11/2010 18:48

4, girl and three boys. We're done - no way am I going through labour ever again!

Madhouse41 · 03/11/2010 19:13

3 DSs and 39+3 with DC4. Don't know what it is and don't mind. My eldest DS who is 13 has severe learning difficulties and we too can make quite an entrance. Smile

I have 5. Only ever wanted 2 but then didn't want to stop Grin

Have now, dp had the snip, still get the urge for another sometimes though!

If both you and your partner would like another child in your family then go for it. It is nobodys decision but yours and his.

I had plenty of not so nice comments and looks but if that's all they have to worry about then they have very sad lives indeed!

Only wanted 2 dc, had DD then DS1 4yrs later, felt I was done. Then had DS2 18 months after that Blush. Was then adamant that 3 was the utter limit. Fast forward 7yrs...and am 29 weeks with DC4! This is definately definately the last one, I'm sending DP to the vets!

gorionSPARKLERS Really? and do I know you?

serendipity16 · 04/11/2010 17:31

I've had 5 children, sadly my first daughter was stillborn.

I'm currently 31wks with baby #6 who may or may not be our last. I would dearly love another baby but i'm having my 4th c-section and my pregnancies are very high risk. Babies have to be born early at 34wks so i only have 3wks to go & i can't wait.

Ideally i'd love another 2 babies but i'm not sure that it'll happen, consultant already wants to tie my one tube up.

ninamag · 04/11/2010 17:49

Four girls I don't think I could handle anymore though!
