ouch, feeling sore after the scan

had a scan today at 32 weeks to check position of the placenta.

due to babys head being low down, the sonographer had to dig about quite a lot to get the measurements and thankfully the placenta is clear, so normal birth can proceed.

however i am feeling rather bruised now. :( very uncomfortable.

bit late for a bath, i have one of the wheat bags you pop in the microwave. if i just make it warm and not hot, that will be ok wont it?

Yes - don't put it directly on your tummy though - do it over your clothes

will do. thank you.

couldnt belive how much digging around she had to do, but the babys head was casting shadows all over the palce and making it hard to get measurements. not used to having late scans with not much wriggle room from bubs.
