I am 37+3 but MW says I am measuring 33cm (people constantly commenting on how small bump is).
Baby is very very active, and MW went out of her way to assure me the scan she has referred me for is for protocol purposes only and that she personally just thinks the baby is very low down.

If the baby is not low down, and it is measuring small. What happens next? Does anyone know?

Also, I am pretty sure that my bump is bigger in the evening than it is in the morning. Has anyone else found this?
So, if my MW appt was 1st thing in the morning then I spent the day running around at work and looking after my 3 year old, when I sit down in the evening, and measure it myself, it measures at 37cm. Bang on.
Not panicing, just a bit Hmm about it.

baby will change position ALOT during the final weeks. When i had my DD they told me that she was too big. I was then panicing thinking that i was going to have a monster baby, but she was born 2 days before my due date at a lovely 7lbs 7oz.
Dont worry at all. Even if it is a smallish baby, im sure they would make you aware if it was something to worry about.
Good luck :)

I measured 30 wks at 38 wks and the scan showed there was no water and poor dd2 was completely compressed. She's fine now apart from being really tiny.

Thank you!

weepootle - Did they induce you to deliver your DD early due to the lack of water?

Yes, I had to go straight to labour ward from the scan - not quite how I'd planned things!

However I have known lots of people have tiny bumps and then pretty large babys so I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck. x
