Stich in bump?

Am 39 week (DC2). Not sure if they are just Braxton Hicks contractions gearing up or trapped wind (sorry tmi) but I'm getting stitches all over my bump and it feels very, very tight. Don't want to start panicking just yet and ringing DH etc but this likely to mean anything? Or is it wishful thinking that the whole pregnancy misery is coming to and end? [hopeful emoticon]

it may be contractions, but if it's the "real thing" theyll start to go round your back too. I know it's a cliche, but you really will "know" when you're in labour - the cramps etc are unmistakable.

And yes, they could also be trapped wind or ligament pains.

Best of luck x

Feel less stitchy now, back to regular Braxton Hicks. I don't recall getting any backache in labour last time; ended up going in at 9cm dilated as was expecting this and it didn't happen!

Oh well, looks like I'll still be pregnant for a little while longer!
