Really need a haircut, felt so exhausted the poast few weeks its been low on my list of priorities.

But it's reached the point of no return now with bts not even GHDs can control.

I am due tomorrow and the earliest I can have it done is Tuesday.

I know it could be a disatster (halfway through and my waters go!) but I'm sure I read that after birth you are not meant to get your hair cut due to baby reconsigning you or something.

So what would you do? Deal with the worst hair ever after birth or take the risk?

Not a haircut, but I got my eyebrows waxed and my waters broke on the beauticians table. Not to be recomended! Ooops. Blush

Get your haircut, you'll be having photo's taken with the baby and for the rest of your life you'll be saying look at my hair wish i'd had it cut. Anyway if your waters do go it'll be a great story!

You can bring some inco pads and sit on those if you're really worried about your waters Grin

I wouldn't go anywhere out of pure laziness. Just get someone to come round, check on line you get lods of hairdressers who do the rounds or have a word with friends about who knows someone that is good and does house calls. A lot of them do, no overhead money in hand

I've just found out I'm expecting Bump 2:The Revenge (the affectionate code name around daughter!) with a due date of 23rd June. Slightly gutted, because I went to such huge efforts to get Glasto tickets (start date - 22nd June).

So look on the bright side - a potential mess (easily mopped up) on someone else's floor is a far smaller worry than giving birth on Pilton Farm.

Although that might yield awesome lifetime pressies from Mr Eavis.....!

I got my hair cut last week for the first time since giving birth three months ago - actually, the first time for a good five months. I had a SCREAMING baby on my lap (luckily my hairdresser's is a one-woman operation). It was hellish. Never again. Definitely a good idea to get it cut as late as possible before the baby comes!

BTW he calmed down as soon as the hairdryer went on...
