i am tempted to buy a king prawn green curry from a takeaway. Its a really good takeaway, im 14 weeks... I know people say u shouldnt eat prawns ...but i am starving and have had a busy week in work and dont want to cook... just get takeaway curl up on the sofa with my DP and watch a film...Should I order the prawns, or stick with veg...?

You can eat well-cooked prawns from a reputable source.

I would!

If they're hot and well-cooked, they're fine. If you know the takeaway and are happy that you're not likely to get food poisoning from there (and the food reaches you hot so doesn't need reheating) then I'd get it.

Can't you just get a chicken curry?

hippy, probably too late now but i have had prawns all pregnancy as midwife said fine if they are cooked (i assume she meant hot!!). I usually cook them myself for a quick prawn with cream and parmesan and pasta tea but I think I did once have them from a take away place i totally trust, wouldn't do it from a dodgy curry house but if you have used them regularly and never been ill you should be fine.
