Aqua natal classes in central/north/east London?

Does anyone know of any good aqua natal classes in London? I have had a google around and not found much, which seems odd, considering they're everywhere in the rest of the country.

I live in Stoke Newington (which is overrun with more or less every other type of pregnancy and parenting class) and work in the west end, so anywhere central, north or east London would be good.

Or any other type of pregnancy class, really. Except pregnancy yoga. They seem to be everywhere, no trouble finding them, but yoga's never really floated my boat.

I go to regular aqua-aerobics classes (i.e. not specifically for pregnancy) and find them fine - the weight of the bump is supported in the water so I don't have a problem following the regular class. The instructor usually asks if there are any injuries or pregnancies at the beginning of the class, and the only bit of the class I don't do is abs work. They usually give me an alternative exercise (or I just float there relaxing :o )

I'm a member of LA Fitness and they do aqua classes at lots of their branches in London (I go to the Victoria branch though they've just cut their aqua classes from 3x week to just once - grr). But I'm sure if you look at pools near you there will be some classes going on. Good luck and enjoy!

There is one quite close to you at Park Road Swimming pool in Crouch End - they run the classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings and also have a day time class on Fridays: www.haringey.gov.uk/som/leisure/leisure_centres/park_road.htm click on the group exercise timetable for Oct 2010 at the bottom of the page.

Hi ecuse, Clissold Leisure Centre run Water Workout classes that pregnant women can attend. They're on Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays and Fridays in the daytime. You don't need to be a member to go either.
