I suddenly had the potentially expensive and waste of time genius idea of buying one of those posh steam cleaners that seem to clean everything (quite sad but I've always quite wanted one).

Has anyone any knowledge if they clean the plastic crap toys and other bits and pieces to a sanitised standard, or will I have to use the dettol spray on the stuff as well?

If anyone has a steam cleaner they could recommend I'd really appreciate it.

I borrowed MIL's steam cleaner to clean 2nd hand cot we brought.

Otherwise I'm a believer in the 'builds immunity' theory. I did soak a few toys in Milton solution - the ones that got chewed by DD when she was very wee.
