Hello all

I have been awake since 5am with what I think might be early contractions. They are still very, very far apart - approximately 40 minutes and not totally regular. They do seem to be increasing in intensity though when they do come. I am not yet at the stage where I think I need to contact the hospital.

I also think I have a show but as this is my first, I am not too sure what to look out for. At first, I had what looked like a brownish-pinkish discharge when I wiped, but I had an internal on Monday. Now it is still only when I wipe that I see anything, but it is pink rather than brown - almost like what you get at the very start of a period.

I would think that maybe very early labour has started if it weren't for the fact that the contractions (pain starting in back and making its way to lower abdomen) are not every 40 minutes on the dot, more like averaging at that, iyswim.

Sorry for long post.
Cheers!

yep, sounds like it's all starting Grin

It could be ages yet though, so take things easy, make sure your bag's packed and ready, put everyone that you need to on notice that it's happening, then relax!

And most important of all... keep us posted Grin
