Measuring small for dates (33, should be 38+) - what to expect?

After going for a routine MW check today, I was hurried off to the maternity assesment unit as the baby (which was bang on average at 35 week scan) is measuring small - i.e. two MWs measured me at 33 weeks when I am 38+4. I know fundal height isn't particularly accurate but I guess the fact that two different midwives had concurrent findings is reliable. Unfortunately they couldn't scan me today but I've got an appt for tomorrow midday. I'm just wondering what to expect really - should I prepare for induction if they do find that the baby is small? If so, is is likely that I will be induced tomorrow?

Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm not a natural worrier but my mum is - and she's been on google...!

TIA Smile
