I've posted a few times worrying about having no symptoms as it was so different to my first two pregnancies.

I had an early scan yesterday and saw and heard a very strong heart beat, at about 7-8 weeks.

No symptoms doesn't always have to be a negative thing Smile

I am alot happier and more optimistic now and just wanted people to know that its not always a cause for concern to be symptomless.

thanks, that is very reassuring. how do you get a scan so early, if you dont mind my asking? I'm in the long slog of a wait till 13 weeks for mine but i keep hearing about people getting scans at 6,7 or 8 weeks.

V reassuring indeed - this is my second pregnancy, I'm at 6 weeks, but have had no symptoms at all, and am quite un-nerved. I'm just counting the days till scan time...!

Thanks agnesbrown, I am 6+5 and exactly the same as you having had 2 very sick pregnancies with DD and DS, and none this time. I have booking in appointment at 8 weeks and if still no symptoms I will not be holding back my worries in the hope they take pity and offer me an early scan. The thought of waiting another 5 weeks just fills me with horror. I would even offer to pay for a re-assurance scan if it turned out I had wasted their time with neurotic-ness.
