Getting the odd 'period' pain at 25 weeks?

It only seems to happen in the mornings when I am still in bed, unless I'm just not noticing it other times, but I am 25 weeks and keep feeling the odd, slight 'period' pain.

Is this braxton hicks? I never had them with DS, but when I went into labour, the labour pains were exactly like the bad period pains I used to get. I have experienced the odd tightening of my bump, I just notice that it is a bit hard now and again, not coinciding with the 'period' pains though.

Is this normal?

Could also be ligaments stretching, that's similar to period pangs. Best to talk it thru with your MW.

I'm not due to see her for another 4 weeks. Do you think I should try and see her sooner?

Just give her (or her team) a ring, Crazy. They will talk you thru how you feel and assess if you need to see anybody. They'd rather you rang than be unduly worried just because you were afraid of wasting their time.
