last year for guy fawkes DH and I went to our local funfair and fireworks display and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We want to do the same again but I'm not sure what, if any, rules there are about rides if you're pregnant? Our local funfair rides are relatively tame so we're not talking the big rides at Chessington here. Is it okay to go on things like those twirly shells or similar? [I will be 11 weeks at that point]

Most rides advise pregnant women not to go on any rides, even the tame ones. Probably best to give it a miss this year just to be on the safe side....

I suppose a long as it doesnt throw you around etc,it should e ok,something like a carosel, oops cant spell that..

Personally I wouldn't. Most of the rides have signs saying not suitable for pregnant women. My friend and I went on the big wheel when she was pregnant and she had a bleed afterwards. Probably totally unconnected and baby was fine but not worth the stress imho!

I wouldn't - it's not worth it.
