38 week midwife appointment - small measurements but head engaged

Hi all,

I am 37+5 and had my 38 week midwife appointment today. When I lay on the bed to have my measurements, my bump went to each side, if that makes sense. So I only measured 34 cms. The midwife said his head is definitely down and engaged and she wasn't worried about the small measurements because his head was engaged and my bump had dropped. I just thought the shape of my stomach was odd. She said he is definitely not a tranverse lie.

Anyone else had a funny shaped bump like this in late pregnancy?

I should add, when I am standing up, my bump is very much forward and very neat. It's all bump. It was only when I was on my back.
