Hi everyone,

I have a GTT tommrow as had GD in my last pregnancy, pretty sure this time i will fail as last time it was 7.7.

I am doing a online shop and was woundering if anyone could throw some ideas as what to get I.E snacks, lunches ideas etc.

I always thought fruit was a no go? but read it is ok?

Also i know i have to follow the low GI book which i have ordered but wont be here till end of week and need food in the house before then.

Thank you in advance.

Hi xkatyx, there are some really good tips, lists and recipes on the diabetes.org.uk website Smile

I have pre-existing type 2 diabetes, 27 weeks pg, and I eat loads of fruit - I think it must really vary from person to person from what I've read on here, so have found it to be a bit trial and error (my control was great and purely dietary prior to becoming pregnant - now I take insulin and metformin to keep it under control!)

Good luck Smile
