Is this is a "show"? (warning: TMI)

I've just been to the loo for a number 1 (I hasten to add :))and there were some gloops of stuff in there which could be mucus? Has anyone experienced this and could it be a show? I am 38 weeks today. Any views appreciated :)

Yep, sounds like a show to me, blood streaked mucus.

Is this DC#1? Don't be worried if you have a small bleed to but ring the hosp if you're concerned - if it is your show it could still be days (or more) before anything 'proper' happens.

Good luck Smile

tmi warning: when I had my show, it basically looked like a lump of blood-streaked dark green snot. (about the size of a 10p piece). Prior to this I had some smaller "gloops" when I went to the loo.

Further tmi: I sneezed at the hospital and it shot out! Shock

Good luck btw :)

mouse, yes it is my first, how did you guess? :) the weird thing was that the stuff was in the water...ah well I guess sit tight and wait to see what happens hey. Haven't really had any Braxton Hicks or anything today...thanks for advice :)

Oh no the labour wasn't speedy (not with that baby anyway). I was actually in the loo throwing up (and sneezing) after being given pethidine! (when I said it shot out I meant the "show" not the baby lol)

I was a bit woozy at the time and remember thinking "yuk" what on earth is that snot?! Then I realised.

Sounds exactly like mine last time. No blood, completely clear. My waters broke the next morning (DS didn't arrive for another 4 days though!).

Come back and let us know. Grin
