Hi all

I am currently 34 wks pregnant and for the past 3 weeks, my lo kicks have been gradually reducing to the point were they are now completely non- existent. I am obviously getting plenty of movement but I'm slightly concerned about his position. x

that's funny, i was thinking this today as well, but i'm only 28 weeks along. i don't get many kicks as such either. i think this is because they're bigger so there's not so much room for them to extend their legs and give us a boot in the stomach? as long as there's movement i think it's okay, hopefully! ask midwife?

I had this a couple of weeks ago, im just over 28 weeks now, it was because baby had turned from being breech and kicking me really low down, apparently he`d shifted from being feet down, to head down and was kicking the placenta, so i wasnt feeling as much, if that makes sense.

I mentioned it to the midwife on the phone, she sent me to the hospital to be monitored for a couple of hours, she said it was normal to do this after a couple of days of reduced movements.

So mention it to your midwife if you`re concerned about anything

Thanks for your replies. I think your right sotough regarding the severity of kicks the further along we get.

If lo is head down, would I be getting kicks up near my ribs?

I am seeing the midwife at 10.30 this morning so will get a definite answer then regarding position. x
