Upset stomach in early stages?

Has anyone else had an upset stomach in the early stages of pregnancy? Don't want to be too graphic here () but lets just say as soon as I eat anything, I am running for the loo............

Everything I have rea seems to say I should be constipated but I seem to be the opposite!

bratworst - the hormones just upset everything I think! Some people are sick, some are constipated, others are the opposite!
How many weeks are you? Are you taking folic acid tabs or any other iron substitate? They made me really constipated with ds, then when I took them with dd they gave me the runs!!

oooh, I had this, it was horrid.
Needless to say, it lasted until I was about 7 -8 wks, then became morning sickness!!
Then constipated in the last few weeks!

Oh the glories of pregnancy!

Thanks for the quick responses and putting my min at rest that I'm not odd! I couldn't find anything about it anywhere and was strating to think it was only me.......

I'm only about 4 weeks (ahh)and new to all this so not really sure what to expect to be honest. I've been taking Folic acid for about 2 years as we have been trying so long and have never ha problems with it in all that time, so guess it must be the hormones.........nice!

Yeah they do funny things to your body..... and mind!

I am just beginning to find that out! On the good side though, my consultant has offered me a free (well, insurance pays )early scan at 7 weeks as we have been having treatment.....very excited now!

What can they see at 7 weeks?

Something that looks a bit like a prawn! But the best bit is that you can see the heart beating away at that stage

Seems odd that you can see anything really it is so early!!!!

Have a nose here if you like. It's the scans page of another forum that I use. There's at least one there from 7 weeks.
