How much wee is too much wee?

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and feel like I need to go to the loo pretty much every 10 minutes. I'm up 2/3 times in the night but during the day it can be pretty much every half an hour. I saw MW last Tuesday and she did a urine test which was fine, but from Wednesday I seem to have developed a deep affinity with the bathroom! Is this normal? Confused

Unfortunately yes for some of us, I am deeply attached to my toilet still and am now 34 1/2 weeks. I have heard (doesn't work for me) to try rocking whilst on the loo - as in back and forwards not Led Zepplin Grin - supposedly drains the last little bits out of your bladder!

Another thing to try is removing artificial sweetners from your diet as they act as diuretics and laxatives in some cases.

Sorry but this is one of the "joys" of pregnancy Grin

I agree with MrsSnaplegs, it can be normal - particularly if you maybe weren't exactly iron-bladdered to start with! It all kicked off for me at week 26. It is annoying and you might find it frustrating when some women claim they are tied to the toilet because they have to go every couple of hours! If you are only going 2/3 times in the night, that is a good thing! I am overdue now and can be up every hour. It's not fun, but don't worry about it. You are not alone Grin.

God, I'm 27 weeks and I need to pee as soon as I've peed. In the time it takes me to pull my pants up I can need to go again. So I feel your pain. I make sure I have tissues with me when I'm out and have become quite adept at weeing in rural locations, ie, while dog walking over fields in the countryside where there are no toilets for miles! Blush

Obviously if there are facilities then I will use them but the locations I walk my dogs don't tend to have such conveniences!

I'm 27 weeks and after a bit of a lull (I was weeing constantly in the early weeks) I've started to wee a lot - but only during the day/evening strangely enough. I tend to only need to get up once during the night and sometimes not at all.

I wee constantly - I'm 19 weeks but I have a fibroid too. There's a lot of pressure in my bladder too which can feel quite uncomfortable.

Sometimes I go for a wee thinking I'm desperate and only actually wee an egg-cup full, other times it feels like pints.

You guys are brilliant, thank you. Incredible how many times a day I wonder if I'm 'normal' - it certainly never worried me before! :o
