Hi
Please be gentle with me! I'm 6+4 and have not experienced pg beyond 5wks before so I am not sure what is normal when it comes to MS.
I wouldnt say I feel nauseous or exhausted, its more like feeling fluey or just plain rough. I feel wiped out, quite headachey and my joints ache. Do these sound like acceptable MS symptoms? What did other people experience that wasnt 'textbook'?

I just felt like I'd been run over. I wanted to curl up in a ball and do nothing. I ached, limbs felt heavy, just felt run down and fed up.

Then the nausea started...

I assume it was all part of the MS as when the MS ended, the run over feeling went too.

Thanks showofbloodystumps - feeling run over is a good description of how I feel. I want my duvet, but I'm not actually tired, I just want to stay warm, still and watch cr*p tv.
Thanks for that - its reassured me

Feeling hit by a bus is how my MW described it - had to agree with her! Nausea hit me at 7 weeks in pg 1 and 4 weeks this time around - tbh there's nothing textbook, all of them are quite different, just do what feels right.

Yes, that sounds like the beginning of it all! Hope you don't get it too badly!

It sounds like pregnancy fatigue TBH. Doesn't mean you'll get MS or get it badly. MS isn't the only early pregnancy symptom by a long long way.

There's a certain 'feeling' I had in the first trimester that wasn't just feeling sick/tired it was just feeling rubbish but like there was a big weight on me (hence needing lots of sitting/lying down)
Someone on here described it as a whiskey and red wine hangover and that is definitely what it felt like to me! (not just the sickness and tiredness but the general malaise)

doitorelsa · 23/10/2010 19:34

well, how interesting! I have been feeling so cold and head-achey/run down for days (I am 5+3) and hadn't even thought it was to do with pg! This is my 2nd pg and I don't remember feeling this 1st time around. I would take this over MS any day though.

Yes just before I got a positive test I felt all flu like as if I was coming down with something achey kind of feeling but it didnt progress into anything. Then came my morning sickness..week 4 -17 ..24 hours of nausea and vomiting day and night. Hope you feel better soon OP and that your baby is a sticky one..remember morning sickness (as shitty as it is) is a good sign your hormones are working as they should and you are less likely to miscarry with such symptoms. Every cloud...

Thanks all - I'll make the most of feeling rubbish then which sounds preferable to chucking up 24 hours a day! What a strange ride this pg lark is!
