what did it feel like?

I am desperately trying to remember how it felt with my dd 4/5 years ago, but I'm struggling a little. I am slightly concerned this one is transverse as well. dd was never diagnosed as tranverse and when I went into labour, I ended up with a cord prolapse and emcs. I am petrified of it happening again therefore keen to establish and keep track of this little ones position.

TIA x

Hi,

Don't know what a cord prolapse and emcs is but if it was painful I sympathise!

My baby was transverse up until 2 weeks ago - basically baby's head was roughly high up my bump and middleish of my bump (sitting just below gap between my ribcage if that makes sense) whereas (according to midwife) baby's bum was below my bellybutton and abit diagonal to baby's head. I know it's stressful but try not to drive yourself mad - apparently there's different degrees to transverse (again according to my midwife) so feeling around yourself I doubt you'll get a realistic idea of where baby is - apart from the fact your baby could move to the correct position by the time you give birth - how far gone are you if you don't mind me asking?
