I can't help worrying.

I found out on the 8th October, and did another test on the 15th October and it was still a strong positive.

I don't feel at all pregnant though and I am worried there is something wrong.

I have 2 DS and was so sick and ill with both of them from early on. I hated it at the time but miss the reassurance now. I read that it means your hormone levels are strong if you get more symptoms, which is a good thing.

No one in RL knows i'm pregnant so I have no one to talk to.

Thank you.

Hi love, I have no idea what's normal or not, but I just want to say that I basically had no symptoms for weeks and weeks. After that, the first symptom was my boobs growing - no sickness, nausea, anything. In fact, I didn't 'feel' pregnant until my 12 week scan!

I was wondering if perhaps I just needed to do a big poo or something Grin but the scan proved otherwise.

PipPipPip · 21/10/2010 20:29

PS. It might mean that you're just lucky :)

AgnesBrown · 21/10/2010 20:30

Lol, thats a bit what childbirth feels like too Grin

I'm just worried i'll get to my scan and there will be nothing there, which is why no one else in the world knows Blush

Thanks for the reassurance.

Agnes, good luck, I've seen lots of people on here say they didn't have many/any symptoms ealry oon so try not to worry. I hope everything turns out well and you are just one of the lucky ones :)

Bloodberrybatbait · 21/10/2010 20:37

Agnes - I had no symptoms at 6/7 weeks but at 8 weeks on the dot I started to puke and carried on for another 20 weeks. Hopefully you are just one of the lucky ones.

Fingers Crossed Smile

I need to bite the bullet and see a doctor then I guess.

And get round to telling DP. Or maybe not.

Bless you. You are pregnant. Your baby is tiny, not necessary for you to feel anything yet, you are less sensitive to the hormones. They are there though which is why you had a positive pregnancy test.

Amount of hormones (which dont relate directly to symptoms anyway) means very little as I had the same amount roughly at same time with both previous pregnancies. One DD and one MMC.

lilly13 · 21/10/2010 20:59

I have had no symptoms, except for slightly swallen breasts and occasional very minor cramps which last for no more than 5-10 mins per day (only started getting these after 8 wks or so)... My doctor told me statistically less than 60 percent of women experience morning sickness (but because they are so vocal the other 40 percent start thinking there is something wrong if the sickness does not envelop them)...I think you have a balanced level of hormones and a healthy pregnancy! Congratulations!

AgnesBrown · 21/10/2010 21:05

Thank you.

Its reassuring to hear that it is probably normal.

I am going to wait until i'm about 10 weeks before I go for a private scan as there should definately be something to see then, all being well.

After that I will go to the doctors and think about telling someone in RL.

My nausea didn't kick in til 8/9 weeks.
I had previously had a MMC so paid for a private scan at 8 weeks and clearly saw a heartbeat.it was an external scan too.

muslimah28 · 21/10/2010 22:02

i hope you're one of the lucky ones, but i have to agree with some of the others here, sometimes the sickness just takes a little while to kick in and when it does you long for the days of symptomless pregnancy! Smile

Same here, am 6+4 and no symptoms apart from the odd bit of cramping. In fact I've been crying my eyes out tonight praying for this pregnancy to work, have had 2 mc's in the last year.

I had a scan on Monday which showed a hb and baby measured right, but am convinced the little symptoms I had up till then have since disappeared.

Desperately want this pregnancy to work.

AgnesBrown · 22/10/2010 08:42

Fingers crossed for you digitalgirl.

Its sods law that I start this thread and end up spending most of the night awake feeling sick. I was trying not to move just incase it made me throw up. Not nice. And this morning I have a very dodgy stomach.

Might just be co-incidence as i've got a cough and stuff aswel but I think I might start being grateful I feel well instead of wishing to feel crap Grin
