It's 10years since our last DS and how prams have come on!!
24weeks and completely overwhelmed with what to pick...we live by the sea, do lots of beach/off road walking, but I now from last dc's I want something light and easy to move in & out of car.

Since it's a long awaited baby and definitely our last I don't mind splashing out, but only if it's going to be well used...don't want to spend money only to go and buy an umbrella stroller in 5months time!

I've narrowed it down (I think) but those with experience what do you think?

have you seen the baby jogger city mini?

if i had to choose again i'd get that. you can attach the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat and its the easiest fold ever!

otherwise between those two i'd go for the mountain buggy - its half the price!

Hello
I've gone for the mountain buggy swift as we have a dog and plan on doing a lot of walking - havent actually used it yet still waiting for bambino to arrive 40+3! and am itching to try it out for real. I did a lot of research on the net and it got really good ratings. It's as light as anything, has a decent size shopping basket, really easy to put up and down, and we have got the carrycot that is easy to attach too plus an adaptor to make it into a travel system with the maxi cosi car seat.
Plus it looks great too. It seems really robust only time will tell once we actually use it lol!
It can be expensive once you add up all the extra's sun cover, rain cover etc. but we thought it was worth it for our needs anyway.
